The Town of Riverview is located on the Petitcodiac River next to Moncton and Dieppe.  Over the past 20 years, the town has had a solid, steady population growth, growing by 10% to its current population of 17,832.  Citizens have access to more than 100 acres of developed parks and open space.  Caseley and Riverfront Parks are community focal points that host events designed for the entire town.

The main economic sectors in the Town of Riverview are wholesale and retail trade and the service industry.  Building activity has been steady for the past ten years with 91 new lots created in 2006.
