Village of Salisbury

Located on the banks of the Petitcodiac River, the Village of Salisbury has a population of 2,036.  Each year the village holds Salisbury Community Days, a festival filled with music, dances, contests, games, and exhibits.

 

The main economic sectors in the village are manufacturing and construction, wholesale and retail trade, and the service industry.  Over the past ten years, the village has seen periodic spurts in building activity.  In 2006, fifty-one  new lots were created. 

 

The Greater Moncton Planning District Commission is pleased to have the Village of Salisbury as a member municipality.
